The fresh apples will keep 3-6 months when stored in a cool, dry, and dark place.

Salish™ apples can be eaten fresh, out-of-hand or used to make baked goods like pies, tarts, and muffins. The crisp texture also holds up well when cooked allowing the apples to be used in savory pork dishes or cooked with vegetables such as Brussel sprouts.

Apples are a great source of both soluble and insoluble fiber, which has been shown to help lower cholesterol and aid in digestion. They are also low in calories and contain vitamins A and C, most of which is located in the skin.
