Pea Shoots are not just tender, they are also crisp and tasty. They have a pea-like flavor, but even fresher.
Store refrigerated up to 5 days
You can eat pea shoot raw in a delicious fresh salad, they can be used in place of lettuce or adding along side.
You can also add them into your stir-fry - try adding sesame oil and garlic with it
Garnish main entrees, sandwiches, casseroles and cooked vegetables.
Peas are an excellent source of vitamins A, B, and C. Peas are naturally high in protein content and so are their sprouted shoots, which contain between 20-25% protein. Additionally, there is often an increase of about 10% total amino acid content when the legume is sprouted.
